Squirrel Shooting Season starts in about a month!

Due to a cold wet winter in California, we are not sure when we will be seeing the Beldings Ground Squirrels start to come up in Northeastern California. We are planning on going up between the 23rd of February and the 3rd of March this year. We will be watching the weather and communicating with our friends and land owners to see when enough of them wake up for a good day shooting.

We will be staying at Sully's RV Park again this year. Our friends Wayne and Patty Addison have acquired semi-permanent digs in the park this year. My good friends Steve and Nancy Sandgren will also be joining us in the park this year.

Our Sacramento friends, Rich and Macia Kestner, Brad and Jan Liddell, and Russ and Phyllis Carter are also in the process of scheduling trips up this spring. They tend to stay at the Hot Springs in Cedarville, the Wagon Wheel, or out at Cal Pines, but we always get together for shooting, eating, drinking and telling stories.
